This musical duo
seems to have found a complement in each other.
Both sing almost as one voice. This duo is nothing
less than prodigies in the real sense. They
gave their first live performance at the age
of 7 and 5 respectively in the city of Ahmedabad.
Today after 20 years of associating with the
music of this country they have debuted with
their first Indi pop album. The album is an
interesting pot pourri of Indian culture. Their
choice of music is so different from the current
trend that it immediately brings them to notice,
Their effort to infuse western pop with traditional
Garba beats driven by lyrics that have a spiritual
focus have got them listeners wherever they
perform be it South Africa, to the USA to Canada
to London and in India too.
After having five successful albums to their
credit-, which comprise three garba and two,
cover versions they bring out ‘Mujhko
Piya Ki Yaad Sataye’. This is a unique
combination of rhythm and folklore music.

Both believe that luck has been on their side.
Their songs express their devout faith in the
oneness of the human spirit… through music,
which they claim is the ultimate universal language.
Both these singers have to their credit songs
not only in Hindi but also in Gujarati, Sindhi,
Bhojpuri, Marathi, English and Malayalam.
In these times where pop is the focal word
for all the new music springing up there is
a pleasant variety in the music these two sisters
have to offer.
