SABUDANA
KHICHDI |
| Ingredients: |
* 4 tbsp Ghee
* Salt to taste
* 6 green Chillies
* 2 cups Sabudana
* 1 tsp Cumin seeds
* Coriander leaves for garnishing
* ½ cup fresh Coconut, scraped
* 1 cup roasted, coarsely pounded Peanuts |
| Method: |
1. Wash sabudana, drain and set
aside for one hour.
2. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds.
3. Now add green chillies and let it fry briefly.
4. Mix in sabudana, peanuts, salt to taste.
5. Keep covered and cook on slow flame for 5-10
minutes. One can also add small cubes of boiled
or fried potatoes.
6. Use scraped coconut and coriander leaves for
garnishing. Serve hot. |
